The Victorian Dance Society, a Guild of the Amherst Museum (NY), provided a lively and light-hearted Victorian dance demonstration for about 40 residents of the NorthGate  senior residence in North Tonawanda, NY....Periodic smiles, gentle applause and thank-you's following the demonstration seemed to show how much the residents appreciated the music, dance, vintage dress, staff participation in several dances including the "Jenny Lind Polka" and the "Rye Waltz" and the enthusiastic commentary by our dance instructor for the evening.
